Econock and Rheom Materials Debut Strategic Partnership with a Capsule Collection in Shorai™ at Lineapelle in Milan, Italy

New Delhi, India – February 10, 2026 – Econock, a conscious design and manufacturing Studio from New Delhi and Rheom Materials, a Texas based bio-based material company announces a formal partnership. The collaboration debuts with a capsule collection crafted in Shorai™, Rheom’s 91% biobased leather alternative, unveiled at Lineapelle in Milan, Italy. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to accelerating the adoption of biobased materials by pairing material innovation with intentional design and agile manufacturing.

A Capsule Collection Designed for Real Life

To mark the collaboration, Econock has developed a ten-piece capsule collection constructed entirely in Shorai™. The collection includes a bomber-style jacket, an asymmetrical skirt, and a series of accessories that demonstrate the versatility, durability, and tactile richness of the material.

Rather than presenting biobased material as novelty, the capsule integrates next-gen innovation into everyday life, not as experiment, but as lived experience. The design narrative draws from archival imagery of Texas and the Indian armoured warriors; the capsule embodies the spirit of confidence and quiet strength.

The collection is anchored by an iconic jacket, which draws inspiration from archival imagery of Texas. Designed for movement, it features a funnel neck and dual zip closure. Whereas the asymmetrical skirt reference Indian warrior traditions through paneling, closures, surface rhythm and is finished with biodegradable corozo fasteners.

The capsule embodies the spirit of confidence and quiet strength. Built as a modular wardrobe system rather, the collection reflects a shared belief in designing objects that adapt to daily life.

“Our partnership with Rheom Material represents the benchmark of responsible design where next-gen materials meet craft, creativity, and real-world scalability.” said Sanyam, Advisor, Econock

Removing Barriers to Next-Gen Material Adoption

Econock also addresses a persistent challenge in the next-gen materials space: access to small-batch, high-quality manufacturing. While many brands seek to test innovative materials at a limited scale and, most factories are structured for mass production. Econock’s willingness to work in small, handmade batches, combined with its broad design and technical expertise, makes it a critical partner in helping new materials successfully reach the market.

"This partnership removes one of the biggest barriers brands face when adopting next-generation materials.” Said Megan Beck, Rheom’s Director of Product.

Together, Rheom & Econock are making the transition to more sustainable materials far more accessible and sustainability achievable for all
